Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum vessel which can maintain a vacuum therein in a sealed condition after evacuation without using an evacuating means such as a vacuum pump, which can easily replace the content thereof with another one, and which can be used by rewelding without using any part to be replaced.
SOLUTION: This vessel composed of a pair of opposed flanges 20, 40, peripheral side plates 30, 41, and pillars 50 between flanges, has such a sealed structure that a plurality of welded ends 21, 22, 23 which can be welded to the peripheral side wall 30, are provided at predetermined intervals in the outer peripheral part of the flange 20, and the outermost welded end 21 which are exposed to the outside is welded to one end edge part 31a of the peripheral side plate 30. When the one end edge part 31a of the peripheral side wall 30 is cut and removed while the welded end 21 is cut and removed, the welded end 31b of the peripheral side wall 30 after cutting can be welded to the next welded end 22 exposed to the outside.
