PURPOSE: To improve the husking ratio of hulled rice by outputting a control command signal to increase a circumferential speed from an arithmetic control section to a circumferential speed control motor, thereby controlling the circumferential speed of rice hulling rolls so as to increase the speed when both of a detected moisture value and a detected valve opening degree exceed a control reference moisture value and a control reference valve opening degree.
CONSTITUTION: The rice hulling device for controlling the spacing between the rice hulling rolls 9 and 9 with a husking rate reference and load current value reference is provided with a moisture meter for detecting the moisture of rough rice suplied to the rice hulling rolls 9, 9, a rough rice supply valve opening degree sensor 31 for detecting the opening degree of a rough rice supply control valve 30 to the rice hulling rolls 9, 9 and a circumferential speed control means 44 for controlling the circumferential speed of the rice hulling rolls 9, 9. The control of the spacing between the rice hulling rolls 9, 9 by the husking rate reference and load current value reference is suspended and is shifted to the circumferential speed control to increase the circumferential speed of the rice hulling rolls 9, 9 when the detected moisture value is larger than the control reference moisture value and the detected valve opening degree of the rough rice supply control valve 30 is larger than the control reference valve opening degree.
