Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the photosensitive planographic printing plate which has a high sensitivity and wide development latitude, is extremely good in solvent resistance and has excellent plate wear even with UV ink printing.
CONSTITUTION: The alkaline-soluble copolymer of the photosensitive planographic printing plate having a photosensitive layer essentially consisting of a quinone diazide compd. and the alkaline-soluble copolymer is the alkaline- soluble copolymer prepd. by copolymerizing 40 to 60wt.% N-(4-hydroxyphenyl) maleimide, 35 to 55wt.% acrylonitrile and 0.01 to 10wt.% mono (2- methacryloxyethyl)hexahydrophthalate.
