Abstract:
PURPOSE: To keep the activity of aerobic bacteria in a biological treatment tank, in a purifying device wherein a filter and the biological treatment tank are provided to the circulating passage of bathtub water, by forming a drain passage in the biological treatment tank and sending air into the biological treatment tank at the time of the stop of purifying operation.
CONSTITUTION: The bathtub water in a bathtub 1 is sent to a biological treatment tank 6 through a circulating water passage 3 and a water passage changeover valve 5 by driving a circulating pump 4 while the suspended substance in the bathtub water is removed by the filter 2 and the org. pollutant in the bathtub water is decomposed and removed by the activity of bacteria and the treated water is returned to the bathtub 1 through a water passage changeover valve 7. In this purifying device, at the time of the stop of purifying operation stopping the circulating pump 4, the water passage changeover valves 5,7 are changed over to set an air passage 10 and a drain passage 11 to a connected state to form a circulating water drain passage in the biological treatment tank 6. A compressor 16 is driven in connection with this operation to send air into the biological treatment tank 6 through the air passage 10 to ensure an aerobic bacteria habiting condition in the tank 6.
