Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a skin drug for external use, capable of exhibiting synergistic effects on inhibitory action on erythema by ultraviolet rays and curing action on wounds, by using allantoin or a derivative thereof and kojic acid or an ester thereof together. CONSTITUTION:A skin drug for external use, obtained by blending (A) one or more of allantoin or derivatives thereof, e.g. dihydroxyaluminum allantoinate or chlorohydroxyaluminum allantoinate, with (B) one or more of kojic acid or esters thereof expressed by the formula (R<1> and R<2> are H or 3-20C acyl) as essential ingredients in a skin drug for external use, such as cosmetic, e.g. cream, toilet water, pack or powder, or medicine or quasi drug, e.g. emulsion, lotion, liniment agent or ointment, and having the above-mentioned effects. The amounts of the blended ingredients are normally 0.01-5.0wt.%, preferably 0.05-2.0wt.% ingredient (A) and normally 0.01-20wt.%, preferably 0.1-2wt.% ingredient (B).
