Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide simple manufacture of an organism adhesion preventing pipe which is constituted such that durability is excellent, there is no need for maintenance, no toxity is provided, and adhesion and growth of sea organisms are effectively prevented from occurring.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet 32 of a beryllium copper alloy is helically wound to produce an inner pipe and an outer cylinder 33 formed of an electric insulating first resin layer is formed to the outer periphery of the inner pipe to form a tubular pipe body 35. The pipe body 35 is cut to cut members 30 being a plurality of pieces and the end faces 30a and 30b of a plurality of the cut members 30 are interjoined in a state to be positioned facing each other. An outer cylinder 36 formed of a second resin layer is formed on the outer peripheries of a plurality of the joined cut members 30. This method provides a bent pipe 40. The beryllium copper alloy consists mainly of copper and it is preferable that the content of beryllium is 0.2-2.8wt.%. The beryllium copper alloy has a provision effect of a pollution preventing function (an organism adhesion preventing function) and continuous operation of elution of copper ion.
