Title:
TRANSFORMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3013701
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform a withstand voltage test at site with ease with no need of a testing transformer by providing a test tap, led out at such turning numbers as the primary winding induces desired test voltage when a specified voltage is applied to either of the secondary or tertiary winding.
CONSTITUTION: When the voltage of a testing power supply 1 regulated by a voltage regulator 2 is applied to a test tap 7a of the secondary winding 7 of a test transformer 6, a desired test voltage is induced at the primary winding 9, and withstand voltage test is performed. Thus, withstand voltage test is performed without using a testing transformer. If the capacity of test tap 7a is set to a large value by adding the condensive capacity due to electrostatic capacity 10 of another equipment connected to the primary winding 9 to own excitation capacity, no compensation reactor is required, so that the withstand voltage test at site can be effected with ease.
