Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable an operator to identify alarm contents by changing the tone or rhythm of alarm sound in accordance with the main cause of an alarm.
CONSTITUTION: First classification is made to correspond to the tone of alarm sound by a tone correspondence table 2. It consists of the four tones such as chime sound, bell sound, buzzer sound-1 and buzzer sound 2. Alarm sound is decided in accordance with the second classification of an alarm classification table 1 in the lower part of the tone correspondence table 2. The tone correspondence table 2 stores the eight kinds of musical note codes from A to H in order to refer to the musical note which corresponds to alarm sound. Alarm sound data 4 is once inputted in a serious alarm/slight alarm judging means 5. The serious alarm/slight alarm judging means 5 spools alarm sound data 4 in an inner part and preferentially outputs the musical note code of alarm within data concerning a serious fault to a register 6. An alarm sound signal generating device 70 inputs the information of the register 6 and outputs a sound signal to an amplifier 8.
