Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown, etc. of filters in extruders by monitoring the material consumption of each extruder of a multilayer type extruder and sounding an alarm when the material consumption is abnormal. CONSTITUTION:Weighing sensors 15, 25 for each extruder 11, 21 weigh the weight of materials in each hopper, and output the weighing signals. A material- consumption computing means 1 computes mean consumption per a unit time on the basis of weighing data from the weighing sensors 15, 25. On the other hand, a variation-range decision means 3 compares the current consumption of each extruder and reference material consumption read from a storage means 2, and decides whether or not the difference exceeds an allowable variation range preset. When the difference exceeds the allowable variation range, an alarm generating means 5 generates an alarm. A relative-deviation decision means 4 relatively compares the current consumption of each extruder, and devices whether or not the difference exceeds an allowable relative deviation preset. When the difference exceeds the allowable relative deviation, the alarm generating means 5 generates an alarm.
