PURPOSE: To provide an automatic baking method of OKONOMIYAKI (a pancake of seafood, meat and vegetable) capable of preventing the formation of a thin plate part made of only flour and continuously and automatically baking OKONOMIYAKI having high commercial value and to provide an apparatus for the method.
CONSTITUTION: A material A for one OKONOMIYAKI is placed on a conveyer 12 by a supplying apparatus. Then, the board-shaped scraping member 32 of a scraping apparatus is made to ascend while it is transferred from the upper surface of the conveyer 12 to the direction of the center of the OKONOMIYAKI material A. The scraping-member is allowed to go around on the periphery of the OKONOMIYAKI material A while it repeats the above-mentioned ascending and transferring motion. By this motion, the flour of the OKONOMIYAKI material A which is spread on its periphery is scraped to the central part. Subsequently, the OKONOMIYAKI material is turned upside down by a turning device and baked up on both sides.
