PURPOSE: To provide a dyeing recording method and a dyeing recording device, which have high recording sensitivity and effectively use resources, running coat of which is reduced and which can obtain a recorded substance having gradation properties.
CONSTITUTION: An image-receiving body 1 has a dyeing layer having dyeing properties to the dyes of ink 4. Ink 4 contains at least dyes, and has fluidity. A thermal head 7 selectively heats ink 4 in the vicinity of the dyeing layer 3 of the image-receiving body 1 by relative displacement with the image- receiving body 1 while being pushed against the dyeing layer 3 side of the image-receiving body 1. A felt roller 10 removes ink 4 on the dyeing layer of the image-receiving body 1 after heating by the thermal head 7. Accordingly, recording sensitivity is higher than a conventional thermal transfer system because ink 14 is heated directly by the thermal head 1, and the quantity of heating from the thermal head 7 can be controlled at low running cost because ink 14 can be recycled by adding consumed dyes, thus acquiring a recorded substance having gradation properties.
