Abstract:
PURPOSE:To smooth the opening and closing operation of a door for a showcase when the door is opened and/or closed automatically by a driving means. CONSTITUTION:The opening 3 of a lower storage chamber 4 is provided with arced rails 38 at both sides of the opening 3. A door 25, having arced section, is put on slidably on the sliding surface 38A of the rail 38. Racks 32 are attached to both sides 26C of the glass frame 26 of a door 25 so as to be faced upward. A gear 51, attached to a driving shaft 46, is meshed with the rack 32. The driving shaft 46 is rotated to move the door 25 on the sliding surface 38A to open and/or close the opening 3.
