Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of LD pumping light and make the pumping distribution of a laser rod uniform.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of laser rods 1, 2 are arranged in parallel, the outer side surface of at least one, e.g. a laser rod 1 out of the laser rods positioned on the outermost side is irradiated with LD pumping light 5 from an LD 3 for pumping, and the laser rods 1, 2 are pumped to oscillate laser.
