PURPOSE: To provide a ramp for inspecting a pit of an elevator which can be used in a safe position without being affected by the size of a car or an elevator shaft.

CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal member 12 is rotatably mounted on the bottom part 11 of a pit to the lower part of a floor projecting member 1 and an elevator shaft 3 of the lowest floor, and a longitudinal member 14 where a wheel 13 is mounted on the lower end and extends upward from a landing place sill 2 at the higher part is arranged in parallel to this longitudinal member 12. A plurality of lateral members are integratedly provided between these longitudinal members 12, 14 along the longitudinal direction at an appropriate pitch, a work confirming switch 17 to be actuated by the longitudinal member 14 is mounted on the landing place sill 2, and an indicating lamp to be lit when this work confirming switch 1 7 is actuated is mounted on the top of the longitudinal member 14.
