PURPOSE: To provide a forgery preventive paper which facilitates identification of forgery by incorporating threads formed by slitting pearl pigment coated paper coated with a coating liquid consisting essentially of pearl pigments and a binder to a fine width into the surface of base paper.
CONSTITUTION: The forgery preventive paper formed by incorporating the threads 1 formed by slitting pearl pigment coated paper coated with the coating liquid consisting essentially of the pearl pigments and the binder to the fine width into the surface of base paper 2 is used and is printed 21 with such images by which at least a part of the threads are not printed. Consequently, a white drop-out part 22 which is not printed is formed and perforations 23 are formed in this part. The bright color of the pearl pigments of the threads incorporated into the paper of the drop-out part 22 is not reproduced even if such ticket is attempted to be copied by a color copying machine and, therefore, the decision as to whether the ticket is forged or not is possible. The paper having an excellent design characteristic is obtd. by using the fine piece for which particularly the pearl pigments emitting iris colors are used.
