Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable wire communication access of a LAN or the like and radio communication access of a radio LAN or the like by providing a reset means for forcedly stopping first and second counting means and a means for generating pseudo reception display signals only while the second counting means performs counting.
CONSTITUTION: When an event 121 for which reception display signals for indicating the reception of data are ended is generated from a state 101, a timer for at least performing time-out within 2/3 of IFG is started. When the timer generates the event 122 of the time-out, a back-off timer operated only for a value generated by a random number generation means is actuated by the second counting means and the state 112 is shifted to. Also, the pseudo reception display signals are simultaneously generated. When the back-off timer generates the event 124 of the time-out, the reception display signals are stopped and the state 102 is shifted to. Also, when the events 123, 125 and 126 for which the reception display signals are generated again are generated from the respective states, the state 101 is returned anded and all actions are reset.
