PURPOSE: To provide the merchandise carrying-out device of the automatic vending machine, which can make depth dimensions of the automatic vending machine small, and also, consists of a simple structure.

CONSTITUTION: A merchandise 10a in the lowest part of a merchandise containing rack 1 or the next sales merchandise 10b is detained by a detaining member 9 which is arranged in the inside of a merchandise outlet of the merchandise containing rack 1, protrudes one end part 9a thereof into a merchandise carrying-out passage 8, and is supported axially so as to be freely oscillatable. Also, by a control lever 12 which is supported axially so as to be freely oscillatable in the lower part of this detaining member, and in which the tip 12a is usually energized in the direction for abutting in the detaining member 9, it is obstructed that the detaining member 9 turns in the detainment release direction. Moreover, an engaging member 13 which is provided in the lower part of this control lever 9, and also, subjected to reciprocating motion in accordance with a sales command is engaged with the control lever 12 at the time of its going motion, and this control lever 12 is oscillated so as to release its abutting onto the detaining member 9.
