PURPOSE: To provide a packing method and device for flat sheet by which the flat sheets are arranged compactly in a space and automatically packed.

CONSTITUTION: Stacked papers S are raised and a rolled packing paper P is wound off to the first direction and cut off. Then the stacked papers S are transferred to the second direction crossing in right angles with the first direction at the nearly middle position thereof and placed there to form an objective. The shell of the objective is applied with an adhesive while the objective is transferred to the first direction and the corners are folded to form eared parts. After that, the eared parts are folded while transferring to the third direction reversely against the second direction and further, the ear is pasted to complete the packing body and the paper is stacked, in respective processes.
