Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent wear and seizing of rolling roll for steel and to improve a roll unit and productivity.
CONSTITUTION: A hot rolling oil for steel comprises an ester of a fatty acid composed of ≥15wt.% fatty acid having ≥20C and a polyhydric alcohol as a lubricating component, 0.2-5wt.% aromatic amine salt of organic acidic phosphoric ester as a seizing preventing component and 1-20wt.% organic sulfur compound having ≥5wt.% sulfur content as a wear preventing component.
