Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent air from infiltrating into a pressurization chamber, and prevent oil pressure in an oil chamber from changing largely.

CONSTITUTION: When a plunger 14 makes reciprocating motion in a cylinder 13, oil pressure in a pressurization chamber 12 changes periodically, so that fuel being sucked in a pump chamber 11 is delivered. A bellows type diaphragm 18 is arranged in an oil chamber 6 filled with oil, and this bellows type diaphragm 18 is expanded or contracted according to expansion or contraction of the oil in the oil chamber 6.
