Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of the titled device by using a recording and reading unit having an image recording part, reading part and erasing part all of which are housed in a housing having the size approximately equal to the recording area of one image plane of radiographs. CONSTITUTION:The small-sized recording and reading unit 20 which contains the accumulative fluorescent material sheet 1 and is provided with image recording, reading and erasing function is provided and split photographing is executed by moving the entire part of this unit. More specifically, this device is equipped with the recording and reading unit 20, a unit moving means 15 which moves this unit in such a manner that the accumulative fluorescent material sheet 1 existing in the photographing position to be irradiated with radiations 12 transmitted through a object 11 moves within approximately the same plane and an operating means for split photographing which operates the unit moving means 15 to move the recording and reading unit 20 in such a manner that the part, uncovered by a shutter, 16, of the sheet 1 existing in the photographing position changes successively. The unit 20 has the housing formed to the longitudinal and transverse sizes approximately equal to the recording area of one image plane of the images on the sheet 1 housed in said unit. The easy split photographing and the reduction of the size are thereby permitted.
