PURPOSE: To produce a fluorine-containing surfactant without causing side reactions at high reaction efficiency for a short time by mixing a specific organosilicon compound with a specific polyether compound at a time in the presence of a platinum base catalyst in a non-protonic solvent to cause hydrosilylation reaction.
CONSTITUTION: The organosilicon compound expressed by the general formula I [where, Me is methyl group Rf is 4-10C perfluoroalkyl group or 5-14C perfluoropolyether group, each of p and m is 0 or 1, n is an integer 1-3] is mixed with the polyether compound expressed by the general formula II [where, Q is polyether group having polyethylene oxide chain and/or polypropylene oxide chain, R is H, 1-4C alkyl group or the like] at a time in the presence of the platinum based catalyst in the non-protonic solvent to cause hydrosilylation reaction. Then the fluorine-containing surfactant is obtained by combining the hydrophobic fluorine-containing organic group and the hydrophilic polyether group with silicon atom.
