Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a video screen which has the natural luminance variance even at a high shutter speed.
CONSTITUTION: The electric charge stored in a CCD image pickup element 1 is swept out by the shutter pulse that is decided with comparison carried out between the output signal of a level detecting circuit 3 and a level deformed sawtooth signal. Then the electric charge stored thereafter in the element 1 is read out by the charge reading pulse obtained thereafter. In such a constitution of an electronic shutter of a video camera, the slope of the vertical blanking period of the deformed sawtooth signal is increased.
