Title:
TAKING OUT FIBRINOGEN CONCENTRATE FROM PLASMA AND APPARATUS FOR EXECUTING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3074401
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To take a fibrinogen concentrate out of plasma by using a stage for warming the plasma to a conditioning temp. of -5 to -1°C.
CONSTITUTION: The plasma is cooled to a first temp. of -10 to -40°C from a temp. above 0°C and the resulted solid material is warmed to a temp. near the freezing point of water. Next, the treated plasma is physically separated into this solid material and the liquid-like main part, i.e., water content of the plasma. The warming action is executed stepwise from the first temp. to the conditioning temp. of -5 to -1°C. The size of the solid material is thereafter reduced and such material reduced in the size is brought to such a temp. at which the main part i.e., the water content of the plasma turns to liquid and the dissolution of the fibrinogen in the fluid is lowered as far as possible. The fluid is thereafter separated from the fibrinogen concentrate.
