Abstract:
PURPOSE:To adjust the direction of a light-receiving axis of a line sensor, which is formed by arranging light receiving parts in a straight line, easily in a short time. CONSTITUTION:An adjusting tool 4, which is provided with a light source 2 and a reflecting surfaces 3 for reflecting the light from the light source 2 to form a narrow linear beam, is used. The adjusting tool 4 is set so that a beam axis to be reflected by the reflecting surface 3 align with an object light- receiving axis of the line sensor 1. The beam reflected by the reflecting surface 3 is received by the line sensor 1, and while the direction of the line sensor 1 is adjusted so that light-receiving quantity of each light receiving part 1a is equal to each other. The beam reflected by the reflecting surface 3 of the adjusting tool 4 is received by the line sensor 1, and the direction of the line sensor 1 can be adjusted, looking at the condition of the light receiving condition.
