Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a whole sentence data base system which has an index table group small in size, executes whole sentence retrieval at sufficient retrieval speed and executes forward coincidence/backward coincidence/complete coincidence retrieval.
CONSTITUTION: An input device 2 inputting document data, a construction processor 3 inserting a position mark into inputted document data and executing an intrinsic pseudo word whose character string length is more than '2' based on the document data, a storage device 4 storing document data and the intrinsic pseudo word as a real data file and an index file, an input device 6 inputting a retrieval character string and a retrieval processor 7 extracting a character address corresponding to the retrieval character string from the index file and outputting the character string in document data corresponding to the extracted character address to a display 9 and provided.
