Title:
METALLIC JEWELRY HAVING PATTERN AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06105
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form fine patterns having distinct contours by pouring and integrating the molten metal of a metal having the same compsn. as the compsn. of one of metallic blank materials to the circumference of a metal composite formed by joining these blank materials to a laminated state by solid-phase joining.

CONSTITUTION: The metal composite 2 is obtd. by diffusion joining the metallic blank materials 1a to 1c by pressurizing. The wax of a wax pattern is eluted and the metal composite is calcined by heating, by which a casting mold 5 stuck with the metal composite 2 on the inside wall surface is obtd. The molten metal of the metal having same compsn. as the compsn. of the metallic blank material la having a golden color tone is poured into this mold 5 and is solidified; thereafter, the casting mold 5 is removed. The metal composite 2 is internally chill cast to the prescribed position of the metallic base material 6 having the same shape as the shape of the wax pattern. The contact with the molten metal at the time of pouring the metallic member 6 is prevented in at least the butt parts and the melting of the metallic blank materials 1b, 1c is suppressed. The contours of the metallic blank materials 1b, 1c cast into the metallic base material 6 remain distinctly. The metallic jewelry therefore, have the patterns of the distinct contours.
