Title:
HOUSING STRUCTURE OF BELT TYPE TRANSMISSION FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3029016
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the housing structure of a belt type gear shifter to reduce the number of parts, be excellent in sealing ability, and besides prevent the generation of noise through resonance in a mounted state.
SOLUTION: In the housing structure of a belt type gear shifter for a vehicle to partition a belt type gear shift mechanism from outside air, the wall 1 of the housing H side of an engine and a transmission is integrally formed and utilized as the inner wall of a housing. A rib 2A for mounting protruding to the housing side is peripherally formed on the wall 1. A housing body 2 made of resin having a mounting groove 2A in a U-shape in cross section containing a seal member 6 and formed in a peripheral edge is pressed against the whole periphery of the rib 1A for mounting through a seal member formed of an elastic member in a U-shape in cross section by the free end part of a press member formed of an elastic substance having a base end fixed on an inner wall such that the seal member 6 is deformed within a range of an elastic deformation area. This way mounts the housing body 2 in a state to be elastically held on the inner wall.
