Title:
TOTAL SOLID SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0613105
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a small, light and easily manufacturable battery which can discharge a large current by forming the battery with a negative electrode containing hydrogen ions and preset transition metal oxide, a positive electrode containing transition metal oxide and hydrogen peroxide and a solid electrolytic layer of hydrogen ion conductor.

CONSTITUTION: A negative plate is formed of negative electrode solid active material WO2 2 containing transition metal oxide by which hydrogen ions and bronze can be formed. A positive electrode is formed of solid material NiOy 4 containing transition metal oxide, peroxide or hydroxide. A totally solid secondary battery is formed with a solid electrolytic layer of hydrogen ion conductive Ta2 O5 given from hydrogen conductor between the negative and positive electrodes. In this way, the small light and easily manufacturable total solid secondary battery which can discharge a large current can be obtained.
