PURPOSE: To prevent an eject due to a tape cut detection, etc., and to restrain a mechanical noise by rotating one of a pair of reel hubs incorporated in a cassette type connecting part with a rotating mechanism constituted of a belt provided with a guide roller synchronously with a capstan.

CONSTITUTION: When the output signal of a compact disk player is transmitted to the magnetic head 16 of an on-vehicle cassette tape recorder and reproduced the head 16 and the magnetic head 33 of a mechanical deck are in close contact with each other in a facing condition and at the same time, a pinch roller 34 is rotated and in close contact with a capstan 32 via a belt 24 provided over a pair of guide rollers 22 and 23. By rotating the capstan 32, the belt 24 is rotated and a reel hub 10 is rotated synchronizing with the capstan 32. Thus, the free travelling of the reel hub 10 on a take up side is prevented and the eject of the connecting part by a tape cut and rotation detecting mechanism is prevented.
