PURPOSE: To obtain a thermosetting resin decorative laminate having a sharp decorative pattern and excellent durability on its surface by setting a transfer film, which is peelably provided with a transparent protective layer comprising a specified resin, on a thermosetting resin-impregnated decorative paper set on a base material and peeling the transfer base film from the decorative paper after heating the decorative laminate under pressure.

CONSTITUTION: After a surface of, for example, a PET film is subjected to mold release processing, an electron beam- or an ultraviolet-curable resin composition is applied on the surface of the PET film, and the film is then irradiated with electron beams or ultraviolet rays to be cured, whereby a transfer film is formed. Decorative paper impregnated with a thermosetting resin such as a melamine resin, etc., is set on a base material of a decorative laminate. Then, the transfer film is set on the decorative paper, while directing its coated surface to the decorative paper, and is inserted in a pressing machine via a mirror face plate. After heating the decorative laminate under pressure, the transfer base film (PET film) on the surface of the decorative laminate is peeled and removed therefrom.
