Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to insert an excavation machine into an inclined shaft with ease and safety by inserting and holding a shaft underwater excavation machine into a holding pipe in a vertical state and then pulling up the holding pipe to a leader and tilting the holding pipe and connecting the pipe to the inclined shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A shaft underwater excavation machine 5 is inserted an held into a holding pipe 1 kept in a vertical state from the water. A guide fitting 3a of the holding pipe 1 is set to a guide 16 of a leader 15 of a pile drive barge 14 and the holding pipe is pulled up to the leader 15. Then, the leader 15 is arranged to hold the holding pipe 1 with the guide fitting 3a. After the leader 15 is tilted in that state, the holding pipe 1 is brought right above an inclined shaft 21. After the tilted holding pipe 1 is connected to the inclined shaft 21, a shaft underwater excavation machine 5 is inserted into the inclined shaft 21 with the holding pipe 1 as a guide.
