PURPOSE: To prevent vivration and noise generated by stick-slip of a guide shoe at starting an elevator car.
CONSTITUTION: Vibrationproof rubber 7 is provided between a shoe supporting member 6 with a shoe 5 built therein and a frame 8 provided so as to cover the member 6, a stpper pin 12 is projected from the shoe supporting member 6 side, an elliptical hole 8c is provided on the face 8b of the frame 8 so as to engage with the pin through an elastic body consisting of slidable material, and hence displacement of the shoe 5 in up and down directions is regulated. Consequently, stick-slip of the shoe 5 can be prevented, and generation of abnormal vibration and noise of the guide shoe 5 is eliminated at starting or immediately before stopping of the elevator car.
