Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply preserve a printing tape while keeping the stable quality thereof over a long period of time without discoloring and deteriorating the thermal color forming layer formed on the printing tape by preventing the exposure of the printing tape wound around a tape spool to light.
CONSTITUTION: When a printing tape 3 is wound around a tape spool 2, a replaceable tape unit 1 is constituted by winding the printing tape 3 around the tape spool so that the thermal material layer 6 constituting the printing tape becomes inside. Film sheets 4 are bonded to the upper and rear end surfaces of the printing tape 3 through a self-adhesive.
