Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intensive disposal method of waste which achieves a lighter environmental load in a system as a whole and a supply of the quantity of heat outside even in the form of a hydrogen gas without requiring a large amount of fossil fuel. SOLUTION: Waste is dried at a locally decentralized small disposal plants 1. Energy source used is a combustible gas obtained at an intensive treating plant 2. The waste is transported to the intensive treating plant 2 in the form of a dry waste to be thermally decomposed by a thermal decomposition furnace 5 and melted by a gas conversion melting furnace 6 with oxygen added thereto to be turned into a slag. The combustible gas generated from the gas conversion melting furnace 6 is separated into a hydrogen gas and a carbon monoxide enriched gas by a hydrogen separation film 9 and the hydrogen gas is transported to the small disposal plants 1. The carbon monoxide enriched gas is used for power generation by compound power generation or the like.
