Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dispense with an implantation treatment and hospitalization by providing means each having a conductive face arranged to the skin of a patient and reducing the impedance between the conductive face and the skin when a symptom to be cured is sensed in electrode means applying electric pulses to the skin to form assemblies. CONSTITUTION: The first and second sense/pulse electrode assemblies 20 are fitted to the waist belt 14 and shoulder strap 18 of a patient wearing type device. A pulse transmitter 24 is fitted on the belt 14, and it outputs electric pulses to the assemblies 20 after receiving the electric signals of a support strap 26 connected to the strap 18 and the electrode assemblies 20. A sense electrode 22 and a pulse electrode 32 are arranged on each assembly 20, and an electric release/trigger mechanism wound with a heating coil made of a resistance wire on a starting member is disposed in the sense electrode 22. When a symptom to be cured is sensed, tension is applied to the end section of the belt 14 or the strap 18 in response to it to reduce impedance.
