PURPOSE: To provide a scouring and shrinking treatment machine which is equipped with guide rollers for cloth so that the cloth to be scoured may be sent without folding up to inhibit the cloth from developing wrinkles and uneven treatment and its desired shrinkage is not hindered.

CONSTITUTION: Each scouring tank 1 is equipped with guide rollers (18-1, 2, 3) inside and with slip rollers (21-1, 2, 3) outside over the liquid level. The peripheral speed of the guide roller group consisting of 21-1, 22-1, 18-1 is set higher than that of the cloth running and the peripheral speed of the guide roller group consisting of 21-2, 22-2, 18-2 is set lower than that of 21-1, 22-1, 18-1 group, further the peripheral speed of 21-3, 22-3, 18-3 roller group is set lower than that of 21-2, 22-2, 18-2 roller group but higher than the cloth running.
