Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify constitution, reduce product cost and improve productivity by causing a single leaf spring having reset spring function as well to work in common to a moving armature.
CONSTITUTION: A common armature S0 shaped approximately like a chevron is laid through the hole H of a frame body F fastened to the upper surface of an electromagnetic relay and to the left side of a yoke. Also, the common contact (c) of the common armature S0 and a stationary contact (d) come in contact with stationary contacts (a) and E at the same pressure, when a distance from a support point O to the common contact (c) is taken at A while a distance from the point O to the contact (d) B is taken at B, because a ratio of A to B is 1:1. Thus, when an iron piece X is attracted to a magnetic pole P, the pressure is further increased to the same level. As a result, not only a sufficient amount of current is made to flow via a screw b3 as a common terminal, but also the fixed lower bent section of the contact (d) of the armature S0 is pressed with the contact E. A contact portion is thereby abraded finely to apply a fine slide motion to the contact (d). According to this construction, a film oxide and a film sulfide formed on contact surface are destroyed and the occurrence of a contact hindrance can be prevented.
