Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the exposure of an outside surface of a stair tread mounted to an open string and, what is more, to simplify a manufacturing process in terms of stair treads which from a staircase mounted t the open string.
CONSTITUTION: A tread plate 1 and a riser plate 2 which rises from one side of the tread plate 1 are extrusion molded in one piece, thereby forming a stair tread main body 3. Reinforcing pipes 5 are buried at proper locations on the stair tread main bodies 3 over the whole length in the longitudinal direction while hollow sections 4 are formed. The inner wall of the reinforcing pipes on both ends are threaded, thereby forming an extrusion-molded stair treads 7.
