PURPOSE: To make a still video camera compact by using an IC memory card.

CONSTITUTION: A case part 4 for storing batteries is opened on the back 2 of a camera body 1. When an IC memory card 6 is guided by guide rails 5a, 5b and loaded along the back 2 of the body 1, the case part 4 is covered with the card 6. Thus, the card 6 is used as a substitution of a battery cover and used also as a part of the outside case of the camera.
