Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a mower which prevents movement of a bevel gear at a driven side and suppresses noise of a gear by constituting a bevel gear mechanism comprising a spiral bevel gear producing a component of a pressing force for pushing a bevel gear at a driven side downward with rotation of a bevel gear at a driving side.
CONSTITUTION: In the objective mower a center blade 4A built in a reaping blade housing 1 is driven through a bevel gear mechanism 2, a ring 15 for preventing upward removal of a bevel gear 2b at a driven side is engaged with an output shaft 2B with making clearance against the bevel gear 2b at the driven side, and the bevel gear mechanism 2 is composed of a spiral bevel gear for producing a component of a pressing force for pushing the bevel gear 2b at the driven side downward with rotation of a bevel gear 2a at a driving side.
