PURPOSE: To obtain a float of a rice transplanter having a notch in the rear part of a center float at the center of the width, placing a seedling planting position P at the notched part and forming a mud water removing groove from the front end to the rear end of the center float.
CONSTITUTION: This float is composed of a center float 28 and side floats positioned on the right and left sides of the center float. Seedlings are planted on a ground leveled by these floats. The center float 28 has a notched part at the center of the width of the rear end and a seedling planting position P is formed at the notched part. In the transplanter 1 having the above construction, a groove 42 is formed on the bottom face of the center float 28 from the front end to the rear end in a state to prevent the direct superposition of the rear end or the extension line of the rear end on the seedling planting position P.
