Abstract:
The entries (12) into the feed drillings (9) for one molten material are at one channel outlet slit (4), and the entries (13) into the other feed drillings (10) for the other molten material are at the other channel outlet slit (5). The feed drilling (9, 10) outlets (14, 15) are in alternating lateral rows each centrally between spinneret jet drillings (7), with overlapping entry cross sections. The apparatus for melt spinning bicomponent filaments for spun-bond nonwovens, in a core and mantle structure, has a distribution plate (8) between the wide slit tool (1) and the spinneret (6), with feed drillings for the two molten materials. The distribution plate and the spinneret are bolted together from below with the wide slit tool. The spinning jet drillings are arranged in a rectangular screen pattern.
