PURPOSE: To prevent a coil spring from being separated and flying out even if the spring is broken, thereby improving safety by fixing a rotational body to be mounted to a double-leafed hinged door by means of the coil spring and supporting the opposite ends of the spring by a protection member with a stopper.

CONSTITUTION: A freezing chamber of a refrigerator is closed by means of two doors of the double-leafed hinged door type. A gasket is attached to each of the doors and a rotational body 7 is supported by upper and lower hinges 9, 10 on one of the doors. Further, the body 7 is made up of a case 11 and pieces 13 attached to the upper and lower parts of the case. In this case, the body 7 is rotatably secured by a coil spring 21, while the opposite ends of the spring 21 are inserted respectively into spring insertion holes 31, 32 provided respectively on two protection members 24, 25. And stopper parts 26,27 are formed on the protection members 24, 25 respectively. As a result, the broken coil spring 21 is prevented from being separated from the holes 31, 32 and thus from flying out therefrom.
