Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the title agent which imparts surface wettability to a nonpolar resin having almost no wettability and which is suitable for the use in electroless plating or printing of the resin.
CONSTITUTION: The title agent mainly comprises a soln. of an ester which is obtained by partial reaction of a 14-20C unsatd. fatty acid or its oligomer with a polyhydric alcohol in an org. solvent. The agent is applied to a part to be plated or printed of the surface of a nonpolar resin, and the part is then electrolessly plated or printed.
