Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatize positioning and application of lubricating oil to the connecting part of a rolling roll which is demounted from a rolling mill with a spindle.
CONSTITUTION: Rolling rolls are rotationally driven by pressing rollers 18, 19 of a roll revolving mechanism 12 which are formed of rubber or the like against the outer periphery of the rolling rolls 1, 1a and automatically positioned to a fixed position by detecting the rotational position with a mechanism 31 for detecting the rotational position of roll which is constituted of projecting parts 32, 33 which are attached to the rolling rolls 1, 1a and proximity switches 34, 35 with which they are detected. Lubricating oil is automatically applied by pressing a lubricating oil applying mechanism 41 which is constituted of roll-like roller brushes 42, 43 against the connecting parts of the revolved rolling rolls 1, 1a with the spindles.
