Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the overall size by eliminating the need of maintenance with regard to the leakage of cooling water for high current DC reactor.
CONSTITUTION: Conductor bars 3-6 are jointed in the longitudinal direction and assembled into a rectangular spiral DC reactor having a plurality of turns. One or a plurality of cooling pipes 11 are welded to the inner or outer side faces of the conductor bars 3-6 for each turn thereof.
