PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain a an antifogging effect which is sufficiently satisfactory even when the antifogging agent is used for lenses subjected to ultra-water repellent processing by dissolving specific components into a liquid mixture composed of water and lower alcohol.
CONSTITUTION: The components (a), (b), and (c) are dissolved in the liquid mixture composed of water and the lower alcohol. (a) 1.0 to 3.0wt.% nonionic fluorine surfactant. (b) 1.0 to 3.0wt.% cationic fluorine surfactant. (c) 0.02 to 0.5wt.% perfluoroalkyl group-contg. silicone compd. Namely, the nonionic fluorine surfactant is used as a chief agent in order to improve the wetting and spreading of the lenses coated with water repellent org. films and mainly the lenses subjected to the special coating mainly composed of fluorocarbon resins. Further, the cation fluorine surfactant is used in combination therewith, by which the variations in the antifogging effect by the kinds of the lenses are eliminated and the antifogging effect is additionally improved.
