PURPOSE: To accurately recognize a white balance by an electronic view finder without increase in components.

CONSTITUTION: In a vector mode, changeover switches 15-17 are connected to the position L. A blue color difference signal (current) B-Y is supplied to the horizontal deflection coil 12 of a cathode ray tube 11 forming an electronic view finder, a red color difference signal (current) R-Y is supplied to a vertical deflection coil 13 and the inverse of signal HP' of a horizontal synchronizing signal HP outputted from a synchronism separator and video amplifier circuit 7 is fed to a grid. The electron beam is deflected in a horizontal direction by the signal B-Y and deflected in the vertical direction by the signal R-Y. A position representing a combined vector between vectors by the signals B-Y, R-Y is displayed on the screen of a cathode ray tube 11 similarly to the case with a vector scope. That is, color difference signals B-Y, R-Y are displays as vectors on the screen of the cathode ray tube 11.
