PURPOSE: To return a package which can be considered to be normal through visual inspection by the operator, into a conveying system for returning a package inspection system.

CONSTITUTION: A device 17 for externally inspecting a package, an inferior package pay-out part (b), a package returning pat (c) and a satisfactory package pay-out part (d) are provided in that order on a closed-loop tray conveyer 16 for circulating and conveying packages 2 respectively set on trays 15. A key input manipulating part 29 for correcting data obtained by the result of inspection and stored in a computer 21, into data to be normally processed during returning of a package which can be considered to be normal through visual inspection, is provided in the vicinity of the package returning part (b).
